Mazda Launches 28 Official Accessories For The CX

Among the key accessories offered for the 2023 Mazda CX-60 are various parts needed for towing

Shortly after the 2023 Mazda CX-60 hit the Australian market, a plethora of accessories have just been announced for it, allowing customers to upgrade the capabilities, looks, and versatility of the SUV.

No less than 28 new parts are available for the CX-60. These start on the visual front with the availability of 20-inch lightweight graphite alloy wheels, 18-inch graphite alloy wheels, and machined alloy wheels offered in 18-inch and 20-inch configurations.

Customers who intend to use their CX-60 for towing will be pleased to hear that it is also now offered with a AU$1,613 ($1,074) tow bar, a AU$1,025 ($683) electric brake controller, and a AU$551 ($367) trailer wiring harness. Among the key interior options added to the range include a USB-C to Lightning cable, a USB-C to USB-C cable, sports pedals, and illuminated scuff plates. Mazda Australia is also offering front and rear seat covers, a boot lip protector, cargo organizer box, weather shields, and unique floor mats.

There's also a host of cargo-focused accessories. These include a set of roof racks, a 470-liter roof carry pod, a bike rack, a kayak holder, and a universal carrier.

All genuine Mazda accessories come with a five-year warranty if fitted at delivery or with a two-year warranty for already-delivered models.

As for the CX-60 more broadly, it is offered with three powertrain options in Australia. Found at the base of the range is a 3.3-liter turbocharged straight-six that pumps out 209 kW (280 hp) at 5,000 rpm and 332 lb-ft (450 Nm) of torque between 2,000 and 3,500 rpm. A 3.3-liter turbodiesel straight-six is also offered and includes a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. It is good for a combined 251 hp (187 kW) at 3,750 rpm and 406 lb-ft (550 Nm) of torque between 1,500 and 2,400 rpm.

The CX-60's range is topped by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder Skyactiv-G engine complemented by a 100 kW (134 hp) electric motor and a 17.8 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. This model delivers a combined 241 kW (323 hp) and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque.
